A whole damn day.

A dock. One friggin' dock.

The dock; it's on wheels. The wheels aren't the problem - the dock bending in the middle is the problem. A bent dock doesn't roll. So our porject for the past couple of days was to convince said dock to not bend.

See those wood runners in the picture? That's $140 worth of lumber and hardware - not to mention 7 hours of installation time under a 115 degree midday sun. That's all. Runners.

So the day is upon us. We've fixed the boat. We've fixed the dock. We've broken our beloved tractor, so now we must wait on the Kubota from next door; which has much, much less soul than our Ford.
