A Better Day

When our nation's roadways were created by the powerful men with big hats of yesteryear, they did not have the humble Fiesta in mind. These stretches of pavement are designed for mighty huge vehicles - the type where one can set the cruise control, stretch out and enjoy the scenery rolling across your perspective.

That's not to say we don't need to move into small cars - the energy pseduo-crisis, American sprawl and other hibbity crap compels us to become more efficient, more lean - but it's hard to call being curled up in the econodriver's seat in this Fiesta for a full waking day. The hard, oversized center console pushes your gas leg into an odd sort of S - whereas your back is scooped in the worst way possible.

A far cry from throwing your arm over a bench seat and cruising the Earth. A far cry.
